Yarnmark privacy policy

Updated 29 September 2026. The same text is in the app (Projects > hand icon, and "Privacy policy" on the Pro screen).

Yarnmark collects no data. There is no account with us, no ads, no analytics and no server of ours.

Your patterns and counts

PDFs you import are copied into the app on this device. Projects, rows, stitches, repeats, reminders and the highlighter position are saved on this device.

iCloud (Pro)

With Pro and iCloud turned on, your rows, counters, reminders and highlighter positions are kept in your own iCloud account by Apple so your iPhone and iPad match. We cannot read them. Turn iCloud off for Yarnmark in Settings to stop it.

Purchases

Yarnmark Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details or Apple ID.

Crash reports

If you chose to share analytics with app developers in Settings, Apple may pass us anonymous crash reports. Yarnmark sends nothing itself.

Children

Yarnmark collects no data from anyone, including children.
